Have you ever felt that what you are about to say to someone else is a great idea? But then you might find yourself being the self-observer even as you are speaking. No sooner than the words have left your mouth you might find yourself wondering, “Do I actually do this?” In other words how often do you apply those great ideas to yourself? This week’s tip of the week is simply to Practice what you preach. Today, do an inventory of those great ideas as they come to your mind. Here are a few off the top that might immediately come to mind. Stay in the positive. Exercise. Meditate. Think about what you are about to say before you say it–or count to 10 and replace angry thoughts with soothing thoughts before you speak. Ask for what you want. Don’t expect others to be able to read your mind. Be grateful. Acknowledge the good deeds of others. Just do it!
